Beta version of The Broadband Bible launches
Monday, December 7, 2009 13:49Posted in category The Broadband Bible
The beta version of the Broadband Bible has launched, and ISP representatives are urged to either review their listing, or to submit their ADSL plan information if they are not currently included.
All submissions are free, and the full process is explained here.
The Broadband Bibles lists, compares and ranks ADSL plans for ISPs in South Africa.
Comparisons of 3G and wifi plans are also under way.

Download the Broadband Bible! How? No sign of a download point or how to register, so how can one “log-in:? This is a really stupid website!

I would like to congratulate you on a job well done! We’ve done away with our review lists and now offer yours to our site visitors instead. Many broadband Internet service review lists, including those once featured on the ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) website, simply do not get updated that often because of the man hours that need to go into it. In many instances it is not about being lazy, but about the fact that most sites offering such a service simply do not have enough resources to do it properly. It is also no secret that the cost of ADSL Broadband to the consumer has come down considerable since the launch of the SEACOM undersea cable system, and this cost is expecting to decline further as other undersea cable systems go online. This makes frequent updates essential.

Thanks so much- this is what I tried to do on my own as well! Tip perhaps (for us low end users): Maybe make it a bit clearer which of the ISP’s offer a prepaid line rental (including no bytes) and for how much.

Rather wonderful article, very enlightening stuff. Never considered I would obtain the facts I need in this article. I have been hunting everywhere in the net for a while now and was starting to get irritated. Fortunately, I happened across your blog and received exactly what I had been looking for.
